Last week I took the kids downtown for a food truck lunch. As a family, we watch a lot of Food Network and the Cooking Channel and some of our favorite shows are about all the amazing food served from trucks.
We got downtown Minneapolis about 12:30 and scouted the Marquette Avenue for the right lunch. It was crowded and chaotic, but loads of fun! Having teens made it easy...I gave them all money and let them choose their own meal. Then we found a clear nook in between two buildings and proceeded to eat, share, and laugh. What a great day! On the menu: - Pork Tacos - Philly cheese steak on a pretzel bun - Chicken and potato empanadas - Hot dog (I have one very picky eater...but it was from the Andrew Zimmern truck so I felt that was ok!)
